#141 – Insurance
Okay, I keep getting all this random mail from my insurance saying such and such is denied, but the amount on the sheet is $0. So why are they wasting so much paper telling me that I’m not going to get charged for something, and how come there’s a claim being rejected that doesn’t require any money? All it does is freak me out thinking it’s a bill, and then it doesn’t actually happen that way, and I open it and then have more paper to shred and waste. Do insurance carriers not care about recycling and not wasting things? If you can get a term life insurance online quote, then that is a start to eliminating paper, but seriously… don’t print out pages of charges of 0. It’s really irksome, and it isn’t a thing you can opt to get online… though I guess I wouldn’t want my medical history e-mailed to me, either.
