#36 – Dog Ramps
You know society is going to the canines when you start seeing dog ramps in addition to the normal wheelchair ramps – They’re cute. They sort of look like you could do stunts on them, but they’re actually for your pets. We have an aging dog named Fred (well, he’s actually named after Freddy Kreuger, not that I’ve watched horror films all my life or anything… heh) who could use one of these since he doesn’t jump or anything like a young puppy. I just never knew that these actually existed, but I do know people who have set up their pets like they are humans, with everything that encompasses – they even have ‘their’ seat in the car.
And speaking of fanatics, my niece and her fiance nearly got killed by a road rage driver because when he put on the brakes following them, the dog hit his head. My sister had to come out and get everyone calmed down, because, teenagers that they are, they got out at the house and were going to fight about it.
