#37 – Good News, Finally

It only took a year to get insurance for my son, but he finally has it back.

No warning or anything before they took it away, so if your child is on TennCare, be wary – they’re supposed to send a letter so you can re-up, but they never did. Carla got one, with only a few days to resubmit her information, but I didn’t – she lives in a different county, though. Freaking ridiculous – I filled out the application 17x, went down there, was told to go fill out a different application, and it took calling our Representative and having him call him that finally got me a phone interview because I’m disabled.

So if you’re having issues, call your representative. They will call you back. >_<

Health insurance is the huge topic of the day in the United States lately. The number of American citizens who are uninsured is about 47 million people.
