GhettoKitten: Zen In Chaos
#391 – Dancing
February 7th, 2011 | GhettoKitten
I think most women are always looking for a new way on how to burn belly fat, especially fun ones. I have a membership to a gym, but have had two back surgeries, and the gym is also a bit of a drive from my house, so my time spent there is limited. I do have an excercise bike in my studio, but that doesn’t do the stomach area so much as just provides a general cardio workout while playing video games. For me, the best way to target the stomach without being bored is to dance… bellydancing is the obvious thing you’d think of, but I prefer para para. It’s just so darn perky and fun that you can’t consider it a workout, even though it is a great workout due to the fast tempo.
I would like to create a para para team locally in Nashville, if anyone is interested and not already on a team. If you aren’t aware of what it is, then search it on YouTube – it’s Japanese hip-hop, synchronized dancing that takes place to remixes of anime songs. It isn’t anything like American hip-hop, though, so look up Yoko Ishida Para Para on YouTube to see what I’m talking about. Soooo much fun!
